|Camp Comet Primitive Camping Area|
Camp Comet is a primitive camping area near the Don Williams Trailhead. It has approximately 8 developed campsites with pads, grills and fire rings. There is no water at the site, but a couple of open creeks about 1/4 mile East of the Trailhead. Water from open sources must be treated.
Anything packed in should be packed out, including trash.
This is a remote area and camping alone is not recommended.
There is no charge to camp in this area.

|Paulding Wildlife Management Area (WMA)|
The Silver Comet Trail goes through the middle of the Paulding WMA. Primitive camping is allowed in the WMA. Bear in mind that hunting is allowed in the WMA during certain designated hunting periods (call the Forest Manager to check times).
There are no restroom or garbage collection facilities. Water is only available from open sources such as creeks and must be treated. Please pack out everything you pack in, including trash.

This is a commercial campground, primarily for RVs and Campers. Tenting is allowed also. Fees are charged for camping.
